.
I will always find you
In the midst –
.
Scrubbed out you are,
Yet I see you here,
I see you…
Through the manicured hedgerows,
Stubbed out fag butts,
Swollen plumped up SUVs,
You still dance
.
In me
.
Those heedless warehouses
How they tear
Straight
Through
My tenderness,
And yet,
– and yet,
The gulls
They make their cliffs
From those sprawling slabs
Of rooftop metallic,
.
And the sky,
– the sky it is so vast,
So curling in its bluster
And there
.
It whips into whisping
Whispers – Brightness
Beams through all this – it becomes
So small,
And there you are again;
I find you.
.
In the half-world of florescent light,
Lost in the labyrinthine warrens we made,
And still I find you
In some momentary touch
To unite lost souls,
And as all this crumbles,
Do you absorb
Back into your curving folds,
Your dark softness,
Dripping into talons.
.
I am swallowed by the rampage
And yet,
– and yet,
I will always find you;
Delight in me you do,
.
Sparkle at my heart,
.
– Though coldness you are,
Damp to soaked through
Wetness you are.
.
Wind blow through me,
Slice me into shivers
.
I retreat,
And seek
Mollycoddle comforts
And buzzing things buzzing
To keep me warm, cool,
Slept and full,
Trinkets to tinker,
And poison plastic piles of
Cable spaghetti
For tea.
.
I rage –
Why can’t I
Just sleep down with you
In soft woody freshness,
Sweet decay of the old trunks,
Your body for my bed?
I lose you
To my softness –
You are too big,
Too bleak,
Remorseless and brazen;
– Shameless your expression.
.
I dance with you,
And what attempts to end you;
I quiver and quibble,
– Can’t be your bold you.
.
But dearest,
I take in the transcendence
Of your beauty;
.
Here it is,
In every crack and crevice
We left to neglect;
Here it is,
As I gorge my eyes
On your endless horizon
.
Lose myself I do,
Over and over,
Yet dearest,
Believe you have
My deepest pledge –
Find you always
.
I will
Always
Find you
